Nidderdale League - first
commenced in 1894. Prior to then clubs had mostly played only friendly
cricket. The earliest record of a match involving a Nidderdale League
club was between an 8 of Burton Leonard against 8 of Knaresborough at
Riggs Moor in 1796.

South Wales Cricket League
- The South Wales Cricket League was founded in 1999 from the former Western
League, Alliance, Three Counties League and Glamorgan and Gwent Conference.
It covers an area from Chepstow in the east to Tondu and Bridgend in the
west to Barry in the south and the Heads of the Valleys area to the north.
A number of Glamorgan and other former professional players have graced
the league including players like Matthew Maynard, Mike Powell, Mark Wallace,
Ian Thomas, Keith Newell, Mohammed Ali, Dean Cosker and Paul Jarvis.

Surrey County League

along traditional lines for clubs that run a minimum of two elevens on

- founded in 1969, the League caters for teams in the North Derbyshire
and South West Yorkshire areas. Well known in the area for its highly
competitive cricket but still retaining a "friendly" attitude off the
field of play.
